Ukraine Update 6/07

Over the past few days, our team had the opportunity to participate in tactical training. The training was taught by a professor from Lviv. Even though I wasn’t able to be there the whole time, I got the first few days and came away with lots of useful information. As a part of the training, they had on-site training scenarios, where we had the opportunity to practice packing and bandaging different wounds, including safety procedures if you’re providing first aid under enemy fire. And we had training on working in an ambulance, stabilizing patient’s extremities, doing vital signs, and CPR. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be get to take these trainings and the confidence it gives me going forward into unknown situations.
