Eternal Impact

Today a military chaplain and I went to a town close to the front lines and held a church service and did a distribution. Last time we were at this distribution point, we were bombed by Russians. This time things were quiet, and the people were relaxed and engaging with the church service. It was a bit unusual to not have bombs landing around us; however, it was a welcome break.
The people there told us many people died in bombings since we were there the last time. We have been going to this village for several months already to preach and do food distributions, and it’s likely some of the listeners are now in eternity.
Did these messages of salvation make a difference? I believe they did and someday we will know the full impact of it.
