Update From Morocco 9/21

It’s been twelve days since the earthquake in Morocco, and it has been amazing to see how the locals have rallied to help each other in this crisis. The initial needs have been met well, and now the second phase of of the response is underway. With the rainy season and colder weather approaching, the need is for waterproof tents and insulated shelters. Many of the villages still have homes standing, but each aftershock destabilizes more of the houses, rendering them uninhabitable.
We are partnering with locals to build simple insulated shelters which will provide a place for these people to call home until they can rebuild next year. Please pray as we continue to build relationships and navigate working together with these dear people.
