Update From Haiti 6/23

Over past two weeks we have been able to bless a lot of people who were affected by the flood. This flood was a crisis on top of a crisis. For many, it is already difficult to live, but now they have lost even more. Others lost their livelihood in the flood. At one time, a disaster such as this would have brought a much bigger response from humanitarian aid groups. But now, with the security issues, there was almost no response.
There is a shortage of clean drinking water and we have been able to supply over 3,000 gallons of water.
We also have been able to provide jobs to locals by employing people to clean out houses and yards from all the sludge that the flood brought in. This also has gave us a tremendous opportunity to interact one on one with those affected by the flood and we have met many grateful people. They deeply appreciate the help they received.
