“Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
This verse comes to my mind when I think over the past year and how God brought us thru many adjustments and life-changing events.
In January we held our second first response training where we graduated eight trainees.
At the end of January we as a family moved from our home of eight years to our property where my aging parents lived in order to relieve them of some of their responsibilities.
In May my father passed on to his eternal home after spending a week in the hospital.
August found us sending our oldest to high school. (Quite a different experience after homeschooling)
In October we had another first response training, graduating 12 trainees of which 4 of them deployed to Ukraine.
In November we began the work in Haiti.
God has indeed been good to us, taking us through the challenges but always gracing us with His presence as we walked thru them.
I’m deeply grateful for what He has done and there have been so many people that prayed for the work, volunteered their time, and gave generously to make this year possible. I’d like to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart. We couldn’t do this by ourselves. Thank you for the trust that you extend to us.
I look forward to the coming year and I trust that the “God who has helped us this far” will continue to provide.
May God bless you with a happy and prosperous New Year!
