Kentucky Flood Response

This week we were able to complete 9 projects with approximately 260 man hours. The projects involved cleaning up a lot of debris out of yards, the debris included tree branches and bushes, as well as furniture and other household items that floated down the creek.

We also worked on cleaning out several houses. The houses had been flooded on the main floor and their basement contents were all tangled up in about a foot of mud.

The people were very grateful for our help and seemed to enjoy having us helping. Even though it was hard for them to see us taking so many of their personal items out of their destroyed houses.
