From A Home Owner In Inle Lake

After the earthquake, our house was left leaning dangerously backward because the wooden foundation was completely destroyed. The damage was so bad that there was no way to even think about repairing it. With four of us in the family and only me trying to earn money without a steady income, we felt so helpless. Every day, we worried about how to protect ourselves and where we could live safely. That was when PCCR came to our village. They saw for themselves how hopeless our situation was. They met with the local people and us to understand exactly what we needed. It wasn’t just about giving us some materials and leaving. PCCR gave us all the materials we needed to build a new house from the ground up. They also worked together with local people, helping and guiding us to rebuild our home. Thanks to their support, we now have a brand-new house that is strong and safe. It’s such a huge relief for my family, and we are so happy and grateful. We will always remember how PCCR gave us not just a house, but hope and a fresh start.
