Not All Heroes Look The Same

Since coming back to Thailand, I’ve come to realize that not all my heroes have to be older than me. They are also girls that are half my age. Young girls who have taken on the responsibility of being a mother to the little kids at the Home. My heart breaks for these girls, because they should still be taken care of, but they don’t have that luxury. Evenings I see them lead the little kiddos in worship, bathe them, and comfort them when they get hurt. They lead and care with grace and humility, and I’m so proud of them.
