Volunteer Testimony

A lot of destruction! That’s my description. I didn’t know what I was going to see, and it can almost be discouraging to see how much work needs to be done.

It’s been a great experience working with PCCR, from talking with two older ladies about why this would happen to them to seeing people offer pretty much anything they can because they are so happy someone came to help THEM.

But you know what? THEY could’ve been ME! From mucking out houses, throwing out wet muddy clothes, cupboards, and appliances, to cleaning tin off of trees, cutting up trees and grading backyards, to ripping out flooring, drywall and paneling, it has been great, and greatly appreciated. 😊

It would be great to have more hands tho!
