Thailand

This school year I have been working with a class of 31 students around age 10 or so. I am with them for one hour each school day, teaching basic English. They come from various tribes and villages where they speak their own unique languages. Even though they are learning Thai, most of the kids do not speak it well, much less English, so communication can be tricky. Regardless, I am loving getting to know my kids. Conversation may be limited, but so much can be said without words. I love learning and playing games with them, and seeing each of their unique personalities coming to life. Their smiles, hugs, happy hellos, and endless games of UNO will always have a place in my heart!
