My time in Jamaica

I spent the last two weeks in Jamaica helping with tarping and repairing roofs.
This project includes long hours of hard dirty work in the hot sun. Some of the bases have no electricity or running water. Pool water works great to fill up a washer and buckets work great for showers.
Jesus said that “he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.”
It’s a mystery but it’s actually so true. Giving up small conveniences and working hard for ‘free’ is actually so rewarding when you know you’re making a positive change in someone’s hard time.
I’m so thankful to Jesus for giving me this opportunity and for putting it on your hearts to give to this mission either through prayer or financial support.
