Lebanon, plagued with instability and the ongoing financial crisis, has once again seen a massive influx of refugees. This time, adding to the million currently there, over 10,000 Syrians have crossed into northern Lebanon fleeing the violence that ignited in the past 2 weeks. Within this period, upwards of 1,500 Alawaites, Christians, and other minorities were mercilessly massacred, with multiple stories of atrocities coming out.
Our team in Lebanon has since pivoted its focus. It is responding to the crisis in the North and working with local leaders to help provide for the various emergency needs.
