Haiti Update

While Haiti continues to suffer from gang violence, we are delivering food to several different regions that are within our reach, with each zone targeting a specific area. Two of these zones are prisons and two are local church communities on the main land of Haiti. The fifth zone is a remote island just off the coast of Haiti.

In the prisons, hundreds of inmates are starving, and many are on the brink of death. Our team of local Haitians cooks hundreds of pounds of rice and beans for the inmates, to provide one meal per week for them.
In the other two zones, we partner with a local church. Together, we support the older generation and the children in the area. In one of those zones, many of the children have one or both parents in the prison.

On the island, we are working with a local church. Rice and beans are taken to this place via small boats. And together we do food distributions where the needs are the greatest.

Pray for peace in Haiti, for safety for the teams as they work in these different zones.
