Ohio Tornado Response

EF-3 tornado damage in Logan County

An EF-3 tornado touched down in Logan County, March 14th killing at least three people, and leaving many more injured.
It went through a trailer park and totally demolished it before tearing along the beach at the edge of a lake, destroying the town and taking out several residential sections before continuing on its way across the lake to wreak havoc on the other side.

What we did to help

One of our team members who lives within a few hours of the tornado path drove there the day after it happened to access the damage. After checking out the situation we decided to respond and deployed the RV and tool trailer on Saturday.

We spent around a week there and had several volunteer teams working on the ground, cleaning up the debris and hauling off fallen trees, plus demoing a house.

March 25th we wrapped up the response due to the work being done swiftly and efficiently and returned to our base in PA!
