Our team initially deployed to Enid in response to reported tornado damage. Upon arrival, we determined that the majority of debris removal and immediate cleanup had already been completed. The remaining work is currently paused pending insurance processing, which will dictate the next phase of recovery.
Given this delay, we have redirected our efforts.
Overnight, additional tornado activity impacted surrounding areas. We are now en route to Sycamore to assess damage and identify opportunities to assist with immediate needs.
Our plan is to:
* Conduct a damage assessment upon arrival
* Provide assistance where it is still needed and effective
* Establish a safe location for overnight operations
Weather forecasts indicate a heightened risk of severe storms and potential tornado activity across Kansas tonight. We will remain mobile and prepared to respond rapidly to any new incidents that develop.
