Classroom Renovation Project

One of our most recent projects here in Thailand was renovating an existing
building at the school to create two new classrooms. These classrooms are being used specifically for children from Myanmar so that they can have the opportunity to have a good education. The majority of the children that come here from Myanmar have little to no knowledge of the Thai language. This makes it very difficult to place them in the normal classrooms here at the school with the rest of the children. These classrooms give teachers the opportunity to teach them the Thai language with the goal of eventually placing them into the normal school system once they have a better comprehension and understanding of the Thai language. Our staff has also been using these classrooms to have English classes for the new Myanmar students that came to the school this spring. These rooms have been a huge blessing to the school, and we are very grateful for the donations that have made this project possible!
