As we reflect back over our visit to Thailand there are several things that really impacted us!
We really noticed the impact the team has made spiritually and relationally. We noticed that a lot of love, connection, and care was shown to the children since we got involved in the home and we believe the children are getting a taste of hope, love, and life as the children are loved on.
Hearing from the team about the positive changes they have witnessed in many of the children over time was incredibly inspiring.
Our team also has what we call teen night where we have worship and activities for the teens for an hour one evening a week. This has also lead to now doing an hour each week with the younger children. We were there for one evening and it was an impactful moment to see so much enthusiasm from all the children that were there to pour out their hearts in worship.
We realized we probably have no idea all the impact this has on the children.
I would love to see the impact this all has on the children 10, 20, and 30 years from now. I also reminded myself that we are called to sow seeds and let God bring the increase.
I did ask myself the question: how can we do our part in cultivating and preparing the soil for the seed to sprout and spring forth into new life?
We were impressed with the impact we did see in our short time in visiting the home. And I count it a privilege to be able to be a part of what is happening at the home in Thailand.
Thank you to each one of you for your support, whether prayer or financial, in making this mission possible and a reality to be a part of. Thank you!
