Program Name: Training Updates
Organization: Plain Compassion Crisis Response, Inc.
Effective Date: August 13, 2026
1. Program Description
By affirmatively opting in to SMS communications from Plain Compassion Crisis Response, Inc. (“PCCR”), you agree to receive recurring text messages related to volunteer training opportunities and training program participation.
This messaging program includes:
Occasional messages announcing that registration for upcoming volunteer training opportunities is available.
Individual messages to people who have joined a training waitlist, including notifications when space becomes available or when additional steps are required to claim an available space.
Other closely related training updates.
You may receive messages if you have expressly opted in to receive SMS notifications about training opportunities or waitlist activity.
These messages are informational and program-related.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on training schedules and your interaction with PCCR.
We anticipate sending up to approximately 3 general training announcement messages per year, with additional individual messages possible if you are on a training waitlist or actively participating in a training registration process.
3. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in to SMS communications, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Plain Compassion Crisis Response, Inc. regarding the Training Updates program described in these Terms.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of making a donation, participating in a PCCR program, registering for training, or joining a training waitlist.
SMS consent is collected separately from email communications and other required terms or policies. Providing a telephone number, joining an email list, joining a postal mailing list, registering for a program, or joining a training waitlist does not by itself constitute consent to receive SMS messages.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
4. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from PCCR through this program unless you affirmatively opt in again.
5. Help and Support
For assistance, reply HELP to any message.
