5. Email and SMS Communications
We may use your email address to send communications you have requested or consented to receive, including training updates, newsletters, receipts, and other organizational communications.
We may use your mobile phone number to send SMS messages only when you have provided the appropriate consent to receive those messages. SMS communications may include training registration openings, training waitlist availability, and related training updates.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS messaging consent information are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. PCCR does not provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for advertising, marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.
PCCR may provide mobile phone numbers and related information to service providers that process SMS messages on our behalf, such as Twilio. These providers receive this information solely to provide messaging services to PCCR and are not authorized to use mobile phone numbers or SMS messaging consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of making a donation, participating in a PCCR program, registering for training, or joining a training waitlist.
For SMS messages, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for assistance. Additional information about our SMS program is available in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
Your consent to receive SMS messages applies only to the specific PCCR messaging program for which you provided consent. We do not use consent provided for one messaging program as consent for another program.

We may share personal information with trusted service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our organization, provide services you have requested, process transactions, communicate with you, maintain our systems, or otherwise perform functions on our behalf.
These service providers may include technology, communications, payment processing, email, database, hosting, and other operational service providers. Service providers are permitted to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to PCCR and are not authorized to use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
The general sharing provisions in this section do not override the specific protections for mobile phone numbers and SMS messaging consent described in Section 5. Mobile phone numbers and SMS messaging consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may also disclose personal information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PCCR, our users, or others.

This may include receiving general location-based information and associated postal mailing information from authorized service providers for outreach purposes.
When appropriate and permitted by law, postal mailing addresses obtained through these services may be added to our postal mailing list so we can share information about our mission, volunteer opportunities, events, and organizational updates.
We do not use geofencing to collect or monitor precise real-time location data of individuals.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Individuals who have not meaningfully interacted with our organization for approximately one year may be removed from our active communication lists.
To maintain accurate records and honor communication preferences, we may retain limited identifying information, such as a name, postal mailing address, email address, or mobile phone number, in a suppression list after an individual has been removed from active communications.
Suppression records are maintained solely to prevent accidental re-enrollment or future unwanted communications and are not used for marketing, fundraising, or outreach.
