Ukraine Rebuild: Starting Up The Project Again

With a new year and the coming of Spring, we are once again making plans to start up the rebuilding project in Ukraine. In 2025, PCCR sent multiple rebuilding teams to Ukraine for the purpose of replacing and repairing roofs that were damaged by the war. Our teams spent a total of 4 months there before closing down the 2025 rebuilding season over the winter months.

But with warmer weather on the way and more teams ready to go, we are opening up the rebuilding project again for 2026. Last year we focused mostly on repairing roofs, with a few more in depth projects. And although the details for 2026 are still being finalized, there is potential that we will broaden our scope of impact by also getting involved in house renovation projects in other villages with the goal of helping establish longer-term housing opportunities for displaced people. Follow along over the next few weeks and months to see how the project progresses as we finalize the details and continue to press into the opportunities that are available to us.

Continue to pray for the work in Ukraine, our teams as they prepare to go, and the people they will encounter and do life with while serving there.
