Ukraine Rebuild: Colder Weather Sets In

As the weather begins to cool, I’m struck by how quickly time has passed since I first arrived in Ukraine. When I came, the days were long, and temperatures soared into the upper 90s. Now, with cooler weather settling in and temperatures in the low 50s, rebuilding has shut down for the winter months.

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of Ukraine. Thank you for your continued prayers and support — they truly make a difference. As winter approaches, the challenges grow for the Ukrainian people. Power plants are being targeted, and staying warm has become a serious struggle for many families.

Yet even in the midst of hardship, the Ukrainian people continue to inspire us with their strength, hope, and generosity. They have blessed us far more than we could have ever imagined.
