Wrap-up in Florida

While the majority of our response has been in North Carolina, a small team stayed in Perry, assisting homeowners with the requests we’ve been receiving. Since arriving in Florida, our team has been busy tarping roofs and clearing debris and trees.

We are extremely grateful for Just Help One Disaster Response, who teamed up with our volunteers and allowed us to complete homeowner’s requests much more quickly. Thanks to their help, we have been able to assist more than two dozen homeowners, and are now wrapping up operations in Florida.

Helene is the 3rd hurricane, and 2nd category 4 hurricane, to hit this area in the past 13 months. Many people are becoming discouraged at the constant destruction they are experiencing. Please keep these people in your prayers as they recover.
