Thanks to the support of Plain Compassion Crisis Response, we continue to work in the hot spots of Northern and Eastern Ukraine, as the war continues. In recent months, we have been visiting people in the frontline areas, supporting the military with the pizza project, and most importantly, in addition to material assistance, we have been able to share the Good News of our salvation from our sins, which the Savior accomplished for us.
When we heard about the Russian offensive on Kharkiv, we immediately went to evacuate the population living on the offensive line. Although we have no armored vehicles or special equipment, we have a heart that wants to help. And the Lord gave us the opportunity to evacuate more than 60 people who left their homes to escape the aggressor. We saw despair in people’s eyes because they were forced to leave everything they lived for. Of course, it is not easy to preach during the evacuation, but we could not remain silent. After all, we know for sure that strength comes from the Word of God. As we passed on the word of faith to people on the road, we saw rays of hope in their eyes, and it made us happy. We thank God for giving us the strength to go through difficult times for Ukraine together with Him.
