Our days here have been full, and it seems not one day is like the last — repairing roofs, meeting villagers, and listening to stories that stretch back through months and even years of problems and troubles.
Some of the most meaningful moments aren’t the ones with tools in our hands, but when we pause to listen — especially to the babushkas who have seen so much and still find reasons to smile and share.
There are times when strength and patience run thin, when the needs feel greater than what we can give. Yet again and again, God provides — the grace to keep going, the words to encourage, the love that doesn’t come from us.
We’re reminded that we’re only tools in His hands. The real work belongs to God, and He’s faithful to finish what He begins.
There’s always more work than we can finish, but we’re reminded that our purpose isn’t in completing a specific number of projects — it’s in staying faithful and allowing Christ to restore hope in the lives of those we help.
Please keep praying that we would serve with humility, endurance, and hearts centered on Christ in all we do.
