Ukraine: God’s Promise

One dreary afternoon, I looked out my window and saw a beautiful, large rainbow. It seemed to span the entire city. I began thinking about what the rainbow symbolizes—God’s love and His promise to protect His people.
I walked onto the balcony to get a better view, and at that very moment, the air raid sirens began to sound. How ironic, isn’t it? A rainbow, symbolizing God’s promise to protect and keep us, appearing at the very moment an air raid siren warns of potential destruction.

A promise that I hold close to my heart – “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
