The last of our team returned from Myanmar last week. So much has been accomplished for the Kingdom of God and the dear people of Myanmar in the past 2 months and yet it is hard to fully describe the impact that has been made. Because of God opening doors for us in ways that we did not expect, our team was able to stay weeks longer than we originally expected. This allowed them to spend more time in Inle Lake, visiting many villages, spending time with the people in that region and building strong relationships with our contacts there. As an organization, PCCR took this open door and the overwhelming needs in Myanmar as opportunities to pour out in faith. In the pouring out of time, energy and resources, seeds have been planted that we trust will reap a harvest for years to come. We pray that each cup of clean water that is poured out in the coming years will be a reminder of the love of Jesus that empowers his people to go and help, meeting the needs that are within their reach. And that each family whose house now has a firm foundation and provides a safe, dry place to live will be reminded of the shelter and rest that can be found in relationship with Jesus. Most of the projects have been completed before our team left Myanmar. A few house rebuild projects and water filtration systems needed some finishing touches, but our trusted contacts in that area are overseeing this and will report to us upon completion of these remaining projects. Funding for this project is still needed, and we pray and trust that God will continue to lay this opportunity on hearts that are willing and able to partner with us in meeting the needs from the Myanmar Earthquake Response.
