Thailand Update 8/28

One thing that I quickly learned after coming here to Thailand, is how limited you can feel by the language barrier. How can you ask a child what help they need when they come for medical if they don’t know how to tell you what is wrong? How are you supposed to teach the children a different language if you have no way of explaining to them what they are learning?
But one thing that stood out to me about working at a place where the language barrier is so prevalent, is how it is still possible to communicate love and compassion in every circumstance. More importantly as a Christian, it is very possible to show God’s love in whatever we are doing. God’s love has no language barrier.
