Thailand Medical Room

In early September, our team on the ground came to the staff with a request to fundraise for a medical room. The current situation afforded almost no privacy and no adequate space to properly take care of sick children and keep them separated from the rest of the home while in recovery or treatment.

The proposal included two separate rooms that can be climate-controlled, dividers to create privacy for medical treatment and eight beds per room, so the sick children can stay, rather than risking spreading any infection. As with any need, this one came with a projected expense of $13,500.00 and we decided to fundraise specifically for this, since it does not fit into the current budget. Within days of posting the request, Eastline Assembly from Clayton, NY let us know that they want to cover the entire project! They are the home church of two of our graduates and their generous offer blessed us deeply.

Situations like these serve as milestones, to remember that this is God’s work and that He will provide for every need we are called to meet, sometimes by miracle, sometimes through His people here among us. By now, the new medical rooms are fully equipped and in use. In the name of all the children at the home, the staff and all of us at PCCR: Thank you to the wonderful people of Eastline Assembly who made this possible!
