The last few days here in Myanmar has left me both heartbroken and yet so blessed.
Last fall the country was hit with major flooding, affecting many areas. The earthquake though has been a devastating blow, leaving thousands of people homeless, without food or water. Death tolls have been very high, and so many people have lost many loved ones.
The country, still largely closed off, has made relief efforts very challenging. And yet, I have seen God open so many doors and work in some incredible ways!
Life is overwhelmingly hard and seems hopeless at times and yet people are so friendly and hospitable.
Our team has been able to visit many of the affected villages and talk with the people, helping out in small ways and some larger long term ways as well.
Please pray for our team and the people here as we continue to help them not only physically but that through us they could see His love and the true Hope that He brings despite these dark times.
