Every year, we do an end-of-year fundraiser to support the work that we do. In order to make a greater impact and fulfill the needs that come our way, this December, we are raising $1,000,000 for the Where Needed Most fund. When the needs between the fields are time-sensitive, this fund gives us the capacity to fill them in a quick and efficient manner.

Volunteer
With almost every response in the US, we welcome volunteers to help with the cleanup efforts. We would love to have your help on our projects.
This is an awesome way of reaching people right here in your own country and simultaneously gaining experience if you are interested in international crisis response. You do not need to take the training in order to deploy with us within the US. We invite you to join us in making a difference right here, within our own borders.
Take the training
Thinking about deploying with us to international fields? The best way to get started is to take our Level 1 training. This training is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed on our projects.
Volunteer Internationally
Most of our international volunteer opportunities are taken by graduates of our Level I First Response Training. But on occasion, we do have specific fields with particular needs and for those, we do accept volunteers that have not taken the training.
There is a mandatory background check with Sterling Volunteers that you will be asked to take before deploying.
