Flood Clean up
Thank you for volunteering with us! Below are a few things you can expect during your stay.
Sleeping Arrangements
- You will need to bring either a cot or an air mattress.
- We have a large conference room with tile floors that serves as the primary sleeping area. If you do not bring a cot or air mattress, you should expect to sleep on the floor.
- There is one large sleeping room for men and a smaller room for women.
Living Conditions
Please remember that this is a disaster response operation. Accommodations are functional, but they will not be as comfortable as your home. Expect basic disaster-response living conditions and be prepared to be flexible.
Showers and Hygiene
- We have a shower trailer available on-site.
- Towels are provided.
- Please bring your own personal hygiene items.
Laundry Service
We have a washer and dryer available, and laundry service is provided.
How it works:
- Wait until you have approximately a full load of laundry.
- Place your laundry in a bag and clearly label it with your name.
- Drop it off at the designated location.
- Your laundry will be washed, dried, folded, and returned to the pickup table, usually later that evening or the following day.
