This year has been busy. In April, we responded to Rolling Fork, Mississippi to cleanup after an EF4 tornado largely flattened much of the town. While we were working in Rolling Fork, another tornado went through Little Rock, Arkansas, doing moderate damage. In both Mississippi and Arkansas, our teams put in approximately 1,950 volunteer hours and helped roughly 100 homeowners in a total of 3.5 weeks. Towards the end of July, six members of our First Response team deployed to Barre Vermont for 1.5 weeks to help with flood cleanup.

After Hurricane Idalia hit in Florida, we had a total of 30 volunteers during a three week deployment. In December, several tornadoes went through Tennessee and we sent a team to assess. They were able to help out for several days in Clarksville TN and returned after realizing that the needs were largely being taken of locally.

In each one of these deployments, we always have ample opportunity to care for and love people. And we hear many stories from our volunteers having people that got impacted negatively by the disaster, but also getting deeply touched by the care, love, and support we are able to offer through Jesus Christ, our Lord. We’re able to do that because of your prayers and support. We’d like to express a heartfelt Thank You to all our supporters, all the many thanks that our volunteers receive every day while we are deployed on the field.
