RESTORING HOMES AND HOPE IN PUERTO RICO
100% of the people on the Island of Puerto Rico were affected in one way or another after Hurricane Maria made landfall on September 20th. All of them were without power for some time, most of them are still without power. Thousands of people sustained severe damage to their homes, many of them losing their roofs allowing the torrential rainfall to totally soak themselves and everything they owned for weeks after the hurricane.
Currently, we are working to replace roofs as fast as we can to give people a dry place to live once again.

1 MILLION ROHINGYA REFUGEES
More than 1 million Rohingya Muslim refugees have been crowded into an area of approximately 4 thousand acres after government militants in neighboring Myanmar massacred unknown numbers of them, raped their women, killed their children and destroyed their villages in what appears to be a concentrated effort to rid Myanmar of all Rohingya Muslims. To put that in perspective; That’s approximately 300 people per 1 acre. Conditions are inhumane, to say the least. There isn’t enough water, hardly any bathrooms, and virtually no showers. Will you partner with us in helping these people?
Houses Of Hope
BRINGING HOPE TO THE REFUGEES IN IRAQ
Our first mission was to provide emergency relief to the refugees in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq that had been driven out of their homes by the Islamic jihadist group ISIS. Many of them were forced to try to find shelter in abandoned, unfinished houses with no windows, doors, or floor coverings. Plain Compassion sent teams to create shelters by closing openings with plastic sheeting and also helped with food, clothing and heating fuel distributions.
Currently, we have teams working to meet the immediate needs of the refugees that have fled the violence caused by ISIS.
